Add a week of your dog's regular food in a sealed bag, copies of vaccination records (many shelters require them), a current photo of your dog, and any medications. Swap the food and water out when they near their dates. The tie-down stake is for short tethering while you deal with something else; it is not a place to leave a dog unattended.
