Shipping

How much is shipping?

Standard US shipping is $8.99, express is $15, and standard shipping is free on orders of $49 or more. Oversized military surplus and bulk food cases ship from my suppliers' warehouses — for those you'll see the exact rate at checkout before you pay. International rates are calculated at checkout by the carrier.

How long does delivery take?

It depends on the item. My own kits and US-stocked gear typically process in 1–3 business days. Some items ship direct from supplier warehouses and can take 7–15 business days domestic. Every order gets tracking, no exceptions.

Why did my order arrive in more than one box?

Kits and multi-item orders often ship from more than one warehouse, so you may get several tracked packages over a few days. Everything on your order is coming — check the tracking numbers in your shipping confirmation.

Returns

What's your return policy?

30-day returns on unopened items. Gift cards are the only exception. Full details are in my Refund Policy — and if something arrives damaged or wrong, email me and I'll make it right.

The Gear

How do you decide what to carry?

One test: would I hand it to my own family and trust it to work? I'm a Marine Corps veteran and a working firefighter/EMT — I cross-reference gear against independent field testing, and I don't carry counterfeit or knockoff life-safety equipment. Ever. What condition is the military surplus in?

Each surplus listing states its condition plainly — "issued," "used," "like new," or "new/unissued" — and the photos show the actual class of item you'll receive. Surplus is one-off stock: when a piece is gone, it's gone.

What's inside the 72-Hour Kit?

Every component is listed on the kit's product page — water filtration, fire, shelter, light and power, first aid, and the pack that carries it. No filler, no padding.

Ordering

Is checkout secure?

Yes — checkout runs on Shopify's PCI-compliant platform. I never see or store your card details. Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, and PayPal are all accepted.

Who am I actually buying from?

Me — Reuben. Covenant Prep Co is a one-man, veteran-owned operation out of Texas, run by a working firefighter/EMT. When you email the store, I'm the one who answers.
