Although actual use is always classified on these kinds of products, the available information is that these were purchased in the past for the Executive Branch use, not for our troops in the field. That usually means these went to underground bunkers for continuity of government use by strategic military leaders, congressional members and sometimes even White House staff or leadership.

Preparation: To prepare potatoes, just rehydrate them in water for 15 minutes, drain water and cook like you would cook regular hash brown potatoes.
